TODAY’S TOPIC: RESIST THE DEVIL
OPEN HEAVEN FOR TEENS 30TH JANUARY 2022 MEMORIZE: Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 2 James 4:7
BIBLE READING: EPHESIANS 6:11-18
11, Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15. And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16. Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the flery darts of the wicked.
17. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18. Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
Open Heaven For Teens 30th January 2022 Message:
After I gave my life to Christ, I didn’t visit my hometown for thirteen years for fear of being killed by witches and wizards, until I got a revelation in Gods word that Jesus said all power in heaven and on earth belongs to Him. That was my deliverance.
Today, whenever I want to visit my hometown, I inform them months ahead so they can plan any of their gimmicks. By the time I get there to preach the gospel, they surrender to Jesus.
These days unfortunately, movies and series, especially the horror ones, have portrayed the devil as a very powerful being. This mindset has eroded his true state in the lives of many believers. The devil is neither Gods vice nor second-incommand!.
As a true child of God, you are more powerful than the enemy because the same power that raised Jesus from death is at work in you! You have the power to resist the devil because God has given you authority over him, his demons and their schemes.
The devil is not to be feared, tolerated, accommodated, served, loved, advertised or associated with; he is very cunning and will do all it takes to bring a believer down, therefore, you must always be alert and constantly resist him in your thoughts, words, dreams and even physically. You will overcome the enemy, in Jesus name. Amen.

Father, please strengthen me to always resist the devil and overcome.
